Jekyll Island Invitational!
We hope you'll join us this 25'-26' Competition season for a unique competition destination, Jekyll Island Ga. Our competition venue, sits directly on the beach, surrounded by shops, restaurants, and wonderful views of the Ocean. I know you might be thinking... February at the beach... it's winter, it's got to be cold! Coastal Georgia Winter is mid-December & January in length. Outside of that time frame it's like spring to the rest of the word! So, February is the best time to come to the beach because it's not so hot your melting, and the Georgia Cold has passed.
Historical Awards!
How many meets recognize gymnasts for scoring the highest in their entire level! Sure, they get 1st for that event in their age group... At Jekyll take it a step further with the Historical Athlete award. Originally limited to USA Level 3-10 it's been opened up to Xcel levels & now expanding to all levels and competition Divisions (AAU & NGA) These scores are recorded and displayed annually in the program and this website. Those who beat or create a new historical record score receive recognition for their achievement and an additional gift for that achievement!
Senior Gifts
Some meets have senior recognition, they give the athlete flowers, they let the coach say a few nice words. It's quite an accomplishment staying in gymnastics until graduation year... So, we commemorate it properly! Graduating Seniors get an Event Hoodie on US! Plus, a custom-made hand-blown glass globe from the Jekyll Island visitor center. NEW this a year we plan to include Senior shout outs in the Program. This year's program will not have to be purchased it's going to be given to all families. It will make an excellent keepsake!
Our Medals & Gifts
All athletes that attend our event get these medals for All Around, Obviously the gold goes to the best competitor, but the silver and the bronze medals still look amazing.
All participating athletes get a custom event beach towel
(late registration may affect you athletes' ability to receive their towel)
100% Team Trophies... All teams registered for this event will receive a team banner. Last min. changes to team entries will not receive their banner at event.
Coaches ~ we like gifts too, right? last year my staff had Tye-Dye T's that were the coolest thing, so many people wanted to buy one, but sadly we only made them for staff. This year, Coaches and Judges are getting one of these awesome event Tye-dye T's
The Island
Jekyll Island has many great activities and features but the most unique is Driftwood Beach. just a short drive up the road from the convention center and all the hotels.
The beach is littered with the remnants of trees many large enough to do handstand or presses on. This beach is very popular for wedding photos, family reunion or as we used it a summer Team Photo! Personally, I have traveled quite extensively, and I have never come across about beach like this one and it's definitely a place you've got to see to believe!

January thru February the hunt is on for these beautiful custom-made glass globes. The whole island is open for this treasure hunt. When you come keep those eyes open, because you never know where you may find one. If you don't find one, they are available for purchase at the visitor center in 2 different sizes.

Georgia Sea Turtle Center
This is the east coast premier sea turtle hospital and rehabilitation center. Definitely a place you want to visit when on the island, tours are available Daily.
Other Activities... Mini Golf, Bird Watching, Horseback Riding, Unique Shops, Restaurants, Rich History, Art exhibits, Boating, Light House, Dolphin tours and so much more. No better way to enjoy a meet weekend then relaxing and seeing the sites of Jekyll Island Georgia!
The Food
Besides the concession, and catered food served to the coaches and judges, these are just some of the restaurants in walking distance of the convention center.
We highly recommend stopping by during your meet weekend and having some good local faire.
